Support for Veterans

We are grateful for the service of our nation’s veterans. Through Hy-Vee Homefront Round Up, donations can help support our veterans and their families. The Round Up program allows customers to round up their grocery bill to the nearest dollar—or any amount—with the proceeds going to support designated Hy-Vee Homefront organizations. We are proud to partner with our customers by matching customer donations during the days surrounding Veterans Day, up to $100,000.

Since the beginning, Hy-Vee has been a valued supporter for the Puppy Jake Foundation’s mission to raise and train service dogs for veterans. Whether supporting our training in the stores, cheering on our veteran/dog teams or providing significant financial support through Hy-Vee Homefront, Hy-Vee has been a partner we can count on. Together, we have been able to expand our ability to provide more service dogs at no cost to veterans. We are deeply appreciative of the company’s dedication to foster community commitment while honoring their customers, and in this case veterans. We cannot thank Hy-Vee and its customers enough for their generosity.

Operation First Response serves wounded, injured and critically ill active duty service members and disabled veterans with emergency financial aid nationwide. Honoring the service and sacrifice of our heroes is the driving force behind our journey. We believe that it is our duty and responsibility as the recipients of their sacrifice to be there in their time of need. The profound sacrifices made by our military - past, present and future - will always be at the forefront of the heart of OFR. We thank you from the bottom of our heart for the lives you have touched. We are fully aware of the fact that without this support we could not serve our heroes and their families.
