Our Hy-Vee Homegrown program partners with local farmers and greenhouses across our eight-state region to offer customers fresh fruits and vegetables grown within 200 miles of a store. Several of the nearly 250 farms and greenhouses in the Hy-Vee Homegrown program are certified organic and can generate produce year-round.
Hy-Vee Short Cuts offerings, available at Hy-Vee grocery stores and Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh Express convenience stores, provide fresh-cut fruits and vegetables ready for cooking and snacking.
Our Hy-Vee dietitians are on hand in our stores to help customers learn about the health benefits of our produce, and provide recipe ideas and cooking classes to help get the whole family involved in preparing produce.
