Renovated Harding Hills Hy-Vee to Open on Nov. 13

November 5, 2018 | News & Press Releases

Local media are invited to get an early look at the renovated Harding Hills Hy-Vee store in Des Moines, located at 3330 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, next Monday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. Media representatives will have the opportunity to tour the store, interview Randy Edeker, Hy-Vee’s chairman, CEO and president, and take photos and video.

After knee-high floodwaters filled the store the evening of June 30, 2018, the Harding Hills Hy-Vee store underwent several months of repairs and renovations. The renovated store will feature a Mia Pizza wood-fired pizza station and an expanded beverage bar, plus the same high-quality meat, produce and grocery offerings customers expect from Hy-Vee. The adjacent Hy-Vee Wine and Spirits store has also moved inside the Harding Hills Hy-Vee store.

The renovated store will open to the public at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

The store’s reopening means that the free DART shuttle service between the Harding Hills Hy-Vee and the East Euclid Hy-Vee stores will end at 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 12.
