Hy-Vee to Host Community Vaccination Clinic to Vaccinate 1,000 Individuals in Johnson County on Saturday, April 17

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (April 14, 2021) — Hy-Vee, Inc. announces today that it is hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Iowa City, Iowa, for 1,000 Johnson County residents. The clinic will be held Saturday, April 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. inside the former North Dodge Hy-Vee located at 1201 North Dodge Street.
Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will be administered at the clinic. Individuals 16 years of age and older are eligible to receive the vaccine. A second dose clinic will be held at the same location on Saturday, May 8. Recipients of the vaccine will be contacted approximately 5 days before their second dose is due to schedule their second dose appointment.

Vaccine recipients are asked to remain in their vehicles until their appointment time slot. They should bring the following to their appointment: insurance card (if they have insurance) and Medicare Part B red, white and blue card (if Medicare recipient); photo ID (recommended); and a mask to wear.
