February 8, 2024 | News & Press Releases

Hy-Vee announces the final two headline musical artists of the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend Concert Series. Country superstars Kelsea Ballerini and Eric Church will join previously announced artists Luke Combs and Post Malone to complete the star-studded lineup set to perform during Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend, July 12-14, 2024. All concerts are included with Saturday and Sunday Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend tickets, which are on sale now at www.hyveeindycarweekend.com.

On Saturday, July 13, Luke Combs will perform prior to the first NTT INDYCAR SERIES race of the doubleheader weekend, which features the return of night racing back to Iowa Speedway. Eric Church will take the stage after completion of Saturday’s INDYCAR race. Both Combs and Church will perform for 90 minutes on the trackside Hy-Vee Stage. On Sunday, July 14, Kelsea Ballerini will perform for one hour following the final NTT INDYCAR SERIES race of the weekend before Post Malone closes out the memorable event at Iowa Speedway with a 90-minute performance on the Hy-Vee stage.

All headline artists will perform on the Hy-Vee Stage, located trackside in front of the main grandstands at Iowa Speedway. A limited number of exclusive trackside concert viewing passes are also available for purchase.

Kelsea Ballerini first hit the country music scene in 2015 with her breakthrough debut album “The First Time.” She became the only female country artist to hit No. 1 with the first three consecutive singles from her debut album, which garnered a GRAMMY nomination that year for Best New Artist. Her success continues winning ACM and CMA Awards and multiple nominations, including her fourth GRAMMY nomination this year for her most recent album “Rolling Up the Welcome Mat.”

Eric Church is a seven-time ACM Award winner and four-time CMA Award winner. He has garnered multiple award nominations for his critically acclaimed music catalog including 10 GRAMMY nominations. Church has amassed a passionate fan base around the globe known as the “Church Choir.” His most recent chart-topping project “Heart & Soul” is triple album set that features several hits including “Heart On Fire,” “Doing Life With Me” and “Hell of a View,” which reached #1 on the country charts.

Since the inaugural event in 2022, Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend has become the most watched INDYCAR event outside of the Indianapolis 500. Last year’s weekend in Newton surpassed total attendance numbers from the 2022 event, drawing approximately 85,000 fans over the course of three days to the “Fastest Short Track on the Planet” – an all-time high for an INDYCAR event at Iowa Speedway.

In addition to the world-class music lineup and the NTT INDYCAR SERIES doubleheader, the rising stars of INDY NXT by Firestone will also compete during Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend at the “Fastest Short Track on the Planet.”
