Belton Pharmacy Sold To Hy-Vee

DES MOINES, IA – Officials with Hy-Vee Inc. today announced the purchase of the prescription files of the Medicine Shoppe, located at 547 N. Scott in Belton. Those files will be moved to the pharmacy department of the Belton Hy-Vee when the drug store closes on Monday, Sept. 29. Former Medicine Shoppe customers may pick up their prescriptions at the Belton Hy-Vee beginning Tuesday, Sept. 30.

Brenda Slivinski, Belton Hy-Vee store director, said her store welcomes the opportunity to take care of the Medicine Shoppe’s former customers. “Our focus is on the health and well-being of all our pharmacy customers,” said Slivinski. “Those who are joining us for the first time will enjoy our full-service pharmacy, pleasant atmosphere and readiness to address all their wellness needs.”
